Hello Maria, What a lovely collection of thimbles.. I love thimbles too but have none as lovely as your painted ones! I am mesmerized by your spring garden! I know the world enjoys it's season at different times... but never before blogging has it been so well seen! Here it is rain and only 60 degrees the roses are making their last stand! I look forward to seeing your roses when it is cold here:-)

Dearest María Cecilia,

What a lovely collection of thimbles! I too have one similar like your bronze ones, from my maternal grandmother... Very precious.
Thanks for showing this and we owe a lot to those grandmothers who were artists with needle and thread or fabric!

I too have my maternal grandmother's treadle sewing machine, thimble, and her scissors -- sharpened over the years almost to nothingness. I treasure them as they seem to retain much of her magic.

As always, your flowers are magnificent, querida Maria Cecilia!

Muchos besos

Dear María Cecilia,

Visiting your blog today offered a wonderful injection of colour! The thimbles are adorable and -just like Henrietta above- I was surprised to see some lovely "spring" flowers, as I had not thought about the seasons being so different in our different continents of course also affecting what type of flowers grow when...

But that is the beauty of the world of blogs - somewhere out there there is always floral beauty to be stunned by, thanks to all the lovely blog sisters (and some brothers) our there.

Thank you for all your kind and encouraging words on my blog, they mean a lot to me.

Warm regards,
